Hypothetically, let's suppose that there are 50 Individiduals (Me) that collobarate as one unit (We) and they all set out to do something grand intellectually together. All 50 are intelligent and they have varying levels of knowledge in, e.g., 20 areas. Together they know about all there is to know about those 20 topic areas. And let's also suppose that you could add up all their knowledge and you get the sum of existing knowledge in those topic areas. What you've done is catalog existing knowledge and you haven't advanced society at all. Or let's suppose that all 50 were ignorant and had little if any knowledge in the topic areas. When you add all that up, you don't have much to catalog, so you haven't even built a resource and they haven't advanced society. Or let's suppose that 25 were illogical or erroneous and 25 were logical. Well now you've compiled information that is partially unreliable and it is very difficult to ferret out the error from the logic. Oh, but then along comes 1 knowledge creator, 1 Me, who creates new knowledge that was never there. Knowledge that none of the 50 possessed and none of the 50 had the skill to create. And let's suppose the 50 turn to this 1 knowledge creator and say "You're not an expert" and discount his or her new knowledge as false and reject it, even though it is logical. Society doesn't advance. Or let's suppose the 50 welcome in this 1 knowledge creator and accept his or her new knowledge, which is logical. Only now is society advanced. The entire intellectual world has missed or mis-defined knowledge creation and that's the only concept that will bring full understanding to collaborative knowledge working efforts like this one. Here are some simple definitions to get you started down this path: http://www.hyperadvance.com/blog01/index.php?blog=2&title=the_big_picture&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1 Until you understand knowledge creation, no matter what you try to do collobaratively, you're at best only organizing stagnation and at worst propagating chaos, confusion, and undo complexity. You just don't know it yet. But conversely knowledge creation is the sleeping giant, and when it is finally realized, it will bring all knowledge models into the light and they will all become one. Knowledge creation is singularity and is the pivot point to a space age. |
