I am the Director of Sales Engineering at a small software company (DataCert) that focuses on the legal vertical. I am also an executive MBA student at Rice University in Houston. While my current professional role focuses mostly on using web technologies to manage transactions in the legal space, I have a lot of interest in exploring how collaborative and communal (Web 2.0) technologies can alter the way in which legal work is performed.

I anyone has any direction as to where discussion within a specific vertical might best fit, I’d appreciate the guidance. I am really excited by the potential of this project.

hey cole,

I'm not sure if this is up your alley, but if you have some insights into how technology is being used and developed for collaboration an community activities, I'd love to see your ideas in Chapter 13 : We Can Develop the Technologies. Right now the chapter is quite thin, and I'd like to give it some form.

If it sounds like something you'd be interested in, why not dive in a create a section or two. Once you get the ideas out, we can begin to expand them.
