As this is now a fast growing community hopefully getting into thousands or even tens of thousands, may we hear from those who hve experiences with such large communities?

What are the dynamics to watch for?

How to keep them alive?

Wikipedia may give us a clue here. I will dig up reference to how it works and post it.

This NY Times Magazine article captures the dynamics very well, as they relate to intelligence services (social networking, online collaboration, open-source secret sharing). Long read, well-written, complete.
