After some time, I would imagine images and conceptual diagrams will need to be uploaded to the image gallery so contributors can support textual concepts with conceptual diagrams and images.

For file management purposes, I started down the path of creating chapter folders in the image gallery. I think it's reasonable that I got the message "You do not have permission..."

If we agree it's worthwhile, can we ask our technical team to create a logical folder tree in the image gallery? I imagine this grouping will eventually benefit our publisher, as well.

Mel, I haven't seen any image gallery. Where did you find one in the site? Can you post a link?

Hi Joe. I don't think I can post a link. You get there through the HTML editor in any wiki page. Here's the procedure path:

From any wiki page:

1. Click the Edit tab. The Rich Text Editor window appears.

2. From the Rich Text Editor, select the Insert Image From Gallery icon. (It's next to the 'Smiley' icon.) The Image Gallery window appears.

It's from the Image Gallery window that any of us can upload images. (Not sure what formats the wiki takes. I'd guess at least *.jpg, *png, and *.gif are generally okay.) Then, once uploaded, we should then be able to select the image and insert it into the wiki text. Hope this helps. After all, a book with no pictures, well.... ;-)
