I believe that a new section of the forums is needed, an Off Topic or General forum. Already there is a topic in the Introduce Yourself forum that doesn't fit into any of the existing forums. In my experience the lack of an "everything else" forum results in a jumble of topics spread over the specialized forums. This makes it difficult to locate relevant information.

It's a good point. Already, it's clear that we don't quite have the topics structured properly. We've gone from about 10 people using the site to over 400 in a matter of about 10 days, and I think we have a fair bit of catching up to do. But that is the purpose of a beta test, so I'm not too concerned (yet).

Thanks for your suggestion(s). Barry, let's discuss a new structure for the discussion groups that includes an off-topic section, as Derek proposes, and also a sharpening up of the exisitng topic definitions.
